Tokenomics
Token supply, utility model, and the economic design of LGT and LDBK.
LGT — Landblock Governance Token
- Type: ERC-20Votes (OpenZeppelin)
- Purpose: DAO governance voting
- Transferability: Transferable
- Contract (Amoy):
0xD3cBAB1887c8ac097CDc77D15ddaFfE05099fc87
LGT is the governance token of the Landblock Protocol DAO. Holders vote on protocol standards, registry accreditation, and upgrades. LGT does not represent revenue share, land ownership, or any financial claim.
LDBK — Landblock Utility Token
- Type: ERC-20
- Purpose: Protocol utility — fees for proof submission, verification, and federation services
- Transferability: Transferable
- Contract (Amoy):
0xDBC870f41103bf75652508E8cc032FF00B4D8049
LDBK is used to pay for protocol operations. The ERC-4337 paymaster allows registries and users to pay fees in LDBK rather than native POL/MATIC, removing the need to hold gas tokens for day-to-day protocol use.
Fee model
Protocol fees are priced in USD terms using Pyth Network oracles (LDBK/USD and MATIC/USD). This keeps fee costs stable and predictable for registries regardless of token price volatility.
A permissioned free access tier exists for humanitarian use cases, public-interest registrations, and DID-credentialed agencies. Specific criteria are governed by the DAO.
