Registry operators
For government land registries and land administration agencies exploring integration with the Landblock federation protocol.
Who is this for?
Registry operators are government agencies, land administration bodies, or recognized land tenure institutions that hold authoritative records of land rights. This includes national title registries, cadastral agencies, informal tenure programmes, and customary land authorities.
Conformance tiers
Integration follows a staged process. Each stage is voluntary.
- Mirror Mode (Stage 1). Publish cryptographic proofs of a subset of your records. Lowest friction. No change to internal systems or legal framework. Your registry retains full control.
- Verified (Stage 2). Conformance review and join the federated verification system. Cross-registry queries can be routed to and from your registry.
- Full Federation (Stage 3). Direct federation relationships, shared evidence exchange, and dispute interoperability with other registries.
What you control
- What records you publish and when
- Who can access the underlying data (public / restricted / sealed disclosure tiers)
- Your disclosure policy — national law governs what is accessible
- When and how to update or revoke published proofs
What Landblock provides
- A globally accessible proof verification layer for your published records
- A Global Directory entry — making your registry discoverable by other institutions
- Cross-registry verification infrastructure without bilateral agreements
- A Federation Liaison Service for routing cross-registry queries
- ERC-4337 Account Abstraction paymaster — no need to hold native gas tokens
Registry roles
Landblock uses LADM-compliant role definitions:
- ROLE_AUTHORITY — accredited registry authority; can issue injunctions and accredit sub-registries
- ROLE_RELAYER — authorized relayer; can submit spatial unit registrations on behalf of a registry
- ROLE_OWNER / ROLE_TRUSTEE / ROLE_MORTGAGEE — LADM Party roles for land right holders
Getting started
The protocol is currently in active development on the Polygon Amoy testnet. If you represent a land registry and are interested in a pilot integration, contact us at hello@landblock.app or join our Slack community.
